TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTOR – ICT SPECIALIST

Sri Lanka Combat Wildlife Trafficking Awareness, Capacity and Empowerment (ACE) Program

Scope of work:   

Objective 1: Digitize data on wildlife crimes for a national CWT Database 

• Electronic system developed to digitize paper files into a database for enforcement officers to easily access, trace and analyze incidents 
• Protocol for hard copy file upload 
• Internal database management protocol 
• Existing database at the Department of Wildlife Conservation on Wildlife Crimes has to be analyzed and make the necessary changes accordingly, if required 
• Entering the previous and new IWT data into the database.

Deliverables:  

1. Develop an electronics system to digitize paper files on IWT into a database to easily access, trace and analyze incidents 
2. Develop a protocol for hard copy file upload 
3. Develop an internal database management protocol 
4. Make necessary changes to the existing database at DWC on IWT data  
5. Entering IWT case data to above database
