Kumudu holds an MPhil in Integrated Water Resource Management from PGIA, University of Peradeniya and an MSc in Environmental Science, Policy and Management – jointly offered by Central European University, University of the Aegean, and Lund University. She has experience in project management related to natural resource management and conservation; ecosystem restoration; and community empowerment.
