As part of EFL’s campaign on advocating sustainable energy practices in Sri Lanka, a short video clip was produced by EFL in 2017, to encourage children on saving energy (or Demand Side Management) at home. EFL believes that by addressing this issue via children, raising awareness amongst adults and all communities can be achieved more effectively.
The primary objective of creating this video was to address the rising demand of energy in households on a daily basis and how being educated and aware about the issue can resolve the problem followed by careful consumption. Effective management of power and energy can easily decrease this demand significantly.
The video illustrates how children can help reduce their energy consumption by adapting simple measures at a household level.
